Gavin Newton-Tanzer is the current Executive Board Member of AWE (Augmented World Expo), President of AWE Asia, and Co-founder & CEO of Sunrise International. Gavin is responsible for expanding and maintaining global partnerships for AWE, as well as leading the XR-focused professional exhibition series in the Asian region. He is a pioneering figure in driving the international development of the XR industry's innovations. In addition, under Gavin's leadership, Sunrise provides business consulting, strategic support, and cross-border marketing services to hundreds of Chinese tech companies seeking international expansion. With over a decade of experience in educational technology and XR management and development, Gavin is a graduate of Columbia University and also a visiting scholar at the Tsinghua-Carnegie Global Policy Center.
